Community instead of the street - Cluberê youth centre

In a deprived neighbourhood in Salvador, we support a youth centre that cares for more than 200 children and young people in morning and afternoon shifts.
What we make possible:
- Homework help and tutoring
- Daily school meals
- Capoeira, dance and theatre classes
- Sports lessons (football, volleyball)
- Music and language lessons
The impact: Children and young people can take part in attractive courses that strengthen their motor and intellectual skills. The daily school meals also relieve their parents, who can work during this time. Cluberê makes an important preventive contribution by helping keep minors from drifting into crime early.
